Adults born before 1st April 1960 and adults age 18-64 in an at risk group
Flu vaccinations are available from 3rd October; Flu clinics are on 5th, 10th and 12th October at Park View Milnthorpe. All eligible patients will be invited to book over the next two weeks or so. You can also book online.
We will be offering smaller clinics at our branch site, 21 New Street Carnforth. Please check the website for updates or speak to a patient advisor.
Flu vaccination for pregnant women & children
All pregnant women should have the flu vaccine to protect themselves and their babies. Flu vaccine can be given safely at any stage of pregnancy, from conception onwards.
Children age 2 and 3 years of age on 31st August and those over 6 months of age with certain health conditions are eligible for a flu vaccine.
We are offering a drop-in service in for all eligible children and pregnant women. Please ask at reception and we will do our best to accommodate you there and then.
Primary school age children will be offered the flu vaccine at school; we ask kindly that you do not book a flu vaccine elsewhere.
COVID Booster
We are not offering the covid vaccine this winter. Covid jabs will be available to book directly with NHS England from 23rd September.
